Established in 2017 in Slavonski Brod, Croatia, Silica Bit d.o.o. began as a one-man contractor company and has since evolved into a dynamic team of four dedicated professionals. With a background spanning six years in the automotive industry, we have honed our expertise in developing realistic 3D models, scenes, and tools tailored for generating synthetic data used for training autonomous vehicles.

Our contribution includes design and development of a storage system designed for validating and securely storing 3D assets, complete with assigned quality assurance and metadata validation. Additionally, we've engineered numerous automation tools for streamlining the 3D pipeline in distributed environment. Utilizing Intel OspRay™, we have developed a module for generating Ground Truth that operates in parallel with rendering scenes. Furthermore, our team defined metadata structures ensuring comprehensive descriptions of 3D assets, materials, sensors and entire scenes.
